About Me

I am Jez Grattan-Kane.. a modern day Yogi.

Based in Bristol UK, I teach movement and breath in relation to physical and mental health. This is through a weave of Yoga, Breathwork and studying Integrative Transpersonal Psychology. My motivation for this work is fueled by a love of ecology and curiosity to the embodied and relational nature of human experience.

Through my own journey of healing, wholing and recovery from addiction, I have developed a fascination with the interplay between Mind, Body and Breath.

It is my long term aim to support the reanimation of relationships of care, curiosity and reciprocity, within and between the human and more than human, species and world. Working with both individuals and groups to raise our awareness. Integrating the past, increasing well being in the present and consciously co-creating a future.

How I work

I work with the a synthesis of the breath, modern anatomy, psychology & the time tested methods of Yoga.

This can be as a role of teacher guiding exploration of direct methods of inquiry.  Or as a facilitator holding space for the focus and emergence of the individual or group.

Developing awareness, capacity and quality of breath is one of the keys to the physical, mental, emotional and social health.

The breath is an ever present guide for you to listen deeper to and resource to forge resilience to stress or to cultivate rest.
