1:1 Breathwork Mentoring

Overview of an integrative approach.

As a guide, aside you, on your journey.

Relational and Embodied approach

At the heart of any endeavour, is the relationship.

In sessions, we explore together, through open dialogue. Often slowing down and co-sensing, using different lenses to gain perspectives. Building a ground of trust, and atmosphere of curiosity.

Tending to what may still be present, from the past. Deepening our sense-full presence, in the here and now. Whilst making meaning, with both, the light and dark aspects of life.

Expanding, our awareness of how we are in relationship with our selves, those around us, and the living world. Inviting relational remedies, to our issues.

Conscious Connected Breathing

A simple and potentially profound practice. Developing the capacity to follow the breath through different states of experience. Wether slow, subtle or invigorating and ecstatic, and a myriad of experiences.

Releasing tension or tightness from past, or experiencing aliveness and brightness of sensing in the present.

Befriending the Breath. An ever present-sense thread.

Orientating Principles

Cultivating a sensitive curiosity, to both, being with, receptively, and acitvely being response-able, with-in tending to issues and dilemmas, that we face into.

Welcoming the uncertain and unknown, whilst defining our beliefs, values, needs and befriending the twists and turns, of our character.

Normalising, befreinding and reflecting with, altered states. Supporting ongoing integration.

Integrating relational perspectives through. Depth Psychology. Culture. Ecology. Dreams. Spirit and Soul.

Resourcing

Supporting you with Breathing and Mediative techniques. Which you can integrate with-in your day to day.

Imagine using the Breath similarly, yet different to gears in a vehicle, directly working with your heart rate, nervous system and awareness.

And so, another useful analogy, of the Breath flows.. just like any instrument, the more you play, the more you may find the notes.

Guided Breath-holds

Exploring the in-between and befriedning the threshold of the Breath-hold.

Deepening our capacity to Breathe, through entraining C02 tolerance. Which affects our heart rate, stress levels amongst a whole cascade of health benefits.

Breath-holds are curious spaces to explore, which often evoke a variety experiences for people.

“The day with Jez was so much more than I was expecting. The space was held beautifully and made me feel secure enough to journey through some powerful places. Everyone who attended showed compassion for one another, sharing ideas and thoughts with no judgement. Came away feeling inspired and things I can’t quite explain. Thank you”

I had a wonderful journey in the breathwork session led by Jez. Over the last 6 months or so, I have been very active in trying different breathwork with different teachers, but I always struggle to ‘drop into’ the experience. I was very pleasantly surprised to find myself much deeper in the experience with Jez facilitating. I think it might be thanks to Jez’s pre-breathwork activities that not only created a very safe space but also put me in the ‘here and now’, no mind chatter to speak of. I am extremely grateful Jez for creating such a space and for such great instruction on the breathwork”

I warmly receive all the feedback of my self in role, with my craft. Whilst acknowledging, all spaces are co-created. And, I can be muddling, anxious, with blindspots and have a shadow too. As we all do.
